A single variety extra virgin olive oil made wholly from Arbequina olives. Yellow gold in colour, tinged with green. A limpid, bright oil whose medium intense fragrance offers primary notes of tomato vines and hints of freshly cut grass, with background notes of green apple. It is sweet on the palate and flows smoothly through the mouth. Nutty in flavour, it has a gentle touch of bitterness which combines with a mild and pleasant peppery finish. Well bodied with a most memorable flavour.
The delicate complexity of this oil makes it an excellent partner for grilled white fish or shellfish; for lifting the flavour of some simple boiled potatoes; it will complement soft curd cheese and the creaminess of Greek yoghurt, and it is wonderful in a home-made mayonnaise. You will also find it surprisingly good combined with some intensely flavoured dark chocolate. La Cultivada is unique in bringing together the flavours of different foods without overpowering them; rather it enhances each of their individual qualities.

Extra virgin olive oil from our organic olive groves is mainly made up of the Hojiblanca and Picual varieties. Its sensory profile can be summarized as complex and balanced, very fruit, with a variety of aromas reminiscent of green olives, with hints of ripe olives, fresh grass, green leaf, artichoke and green wood. On the palate, it stands out for its pungency and bitterness, harmonious and well-balanced, complemented by a hint of sweetness.
It is ideal for all types of green salads and soft cheeses, and to give the final touch to gazpacho and other cold soups.
